My favorite cheese slice in New York!! I know everyone loves the Sicilian square slice and that one is really good, but they do the classic cheese slice just so well. It's thin and cheesy and so addicting. Also, you just get the rainbow Spumoni - it's very unique with vanilla chocolate and pistachio. The food is ready very fast and there's plenty of outdoor seating.

Spumoni Gardens is an institution. Made me feel like I was a kid going to my families regular pizza spot during a summer vacation. I think that's the reason it ends up on the top of many NYC pizza lists. The pizza itself was fine. Tasted like some of the best pizza bread you've had. If you want toppings you have to get a whole pie. I like a grandma or a Sicilian slice, but this one didn't stand out much. The Italian life desserts and soft serve were great. A fun spot to try but probably not worth making a great trek out here.

Wow! The best Sicilian square pizza I've had. Opted for their classic pie which exceeded expectations. The cheese and sauce were perfect. Crust was nice and crispy while the rest of the pie was a nice soft/chewie consistency. The rice balls were a great bite too. Ordered takeout which was a seamless experience. In my top picks for best pizza, would recommend multiple visits if possible.

I had never heard of L&B but my brother was raving about it when we were at Coney Island. We made our way over and were able to find a table outside pretty quickly. It was quite hot that day and many of the tables did not have umbrellas even though some did. I'm sure that's not a big deal most of the time but we were cooking until we were able to move to a shadier table. The pizza was really good. We were six adults and we split two of the square pies between the six of us and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had our two young sons with us as well and tried to get a single slice from the round pie which took a very long time. I understand they do mainly full pies and don't sell a lot of the round pies, but some heads up about that would have been nice. My son ended up eating the square pizza anyway. The round slice was decent but nothing special.

Stopped by on my way to downtown Brooklyn. There is a small parking lot if you are lucky enough to catch a spot, but there is a decent amount of street parking in the area too. I ordered ahead online in anticipation of dinner crowds, but it really wasn't necessary. My pizza pick up time from placing the order was 10 minutes. The Sicilian pizza was really good and a nice change of pace from traditional NY pizza, but my favorite part was the pistachio part of the spumoni. I'm not normally a big fan of pistachio flavored things but this was tasty with pieces of pistachio sprinkled in. Their outdoor windows make it quick and easy to order what you want. Would definitely get more spumoni if I'm in the area.

A Brooklyn landmark as far as I'm concerned. The square pie is a must try. The round pie is not so bad. My favorite though is the restaurant. It has become more popular over the years and worth a try.

Food: Food is always excellent here. This place is known for their square pies and they recently added a vodka square pie which is delicious. The crust of the square pie is nice and airy. I wouldn't recommend the round pie here. Their pasta dishes and entrées are always well-made. We ordered the baked ziti and veal parmigiana with spaghetti. Entrees are served with huge pieces of fresh Italian bread. Their baked clam appetizer is also excellent. Portion sizes of the entrees are large and enough to feed two people. This place is always crowded and definitely a favorite among many people. They are also known for their Italian ices, particularly the spumoni. They have soft serve as well as many different flavors of Italian ices, including chocolate, coconut, pineapple, watermelon, rainbow, lemon, and more. Service: Staff are friendly and helpful. Ambiance: You can choose to dine inside their restaurant or order your pizza, entrees, desserts outside and find an outdoor table to eat on. There are three separate lines for ordering pizza, ice cream, and entrées. Lines are pretty long, especially in the summer, but they have a good system set up for lines to go quickly and efficiently. Don't be deterred by the crowd and long lines. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Ordered a Sicilian pie on a beautiful Friday night. Sat outside with the love of my life and enjoyed some of the best pizza we've ever had. Wouldn't have changed anything about the pizza itself. Great crust, sauce and cheese. Spumoni ices was certainly the cherry on top. Highly recommend!!

I have been coming here since I was basically born for the famous square pizza slice and spumoni, which is a hometown staple for me. The spumoni here tastes like no other! I finally ate in the restaurant for the first time and the food is very good. Family friendly. We just shared some apps. Best zucchini fries I have ever tasted. Will come back again to try more!
